The Page Turners (5th and 6th grade) : “Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry” by Mildred D. Taylor. Meeting Wed. Feb. 15th 4-5pm.

Bonkers for Books (3rd and 4th grade); “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl. Meeting Wed. March 7th 4-5pm.

Friends of the Library Membership Drive 2012

Friends of the Library Membership Drive
The Friends have created a fabulous gift basket to encourage current members to renew and new members to join during January and February 2012. Receive one free entry coupon when you renew or join, another if you attend either the January 23 or February 27 meeting. The raffle basket includes a handcrafted wooden bowl, $25 Hannaford gift card, $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card, Starbucks coffee & mug, Tazo teas, chocolates, 2012 Lamson Farm Calendar and a Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce woven blanket. Annual membership starts at just $15.00 per year. The Friends sponsor many library activities including Halloween trick-or-treat, books for babies, museum passes, Lunch & Afternoon Movie and the summer reading program.

Winter Storytime

Make a resolution to read more in 2012 and join a kids book club! *Bonkers for Books Junior Book Club* for 3rd & 4th graders will be reading “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” by Judy Blume in January. Group will meet on Wed., Feb. 1st from 4-5pm for a snack and book talk. *The Page Turners Junior Book Club* for 5th & 6th graders will be reading “The Book of Time” by Guillaume Prevost in January. Group will meet Wed., Feb. 15th from 4-5pm for group discussion and snack. Books for both groups available @ the library. New members always welcome!

BINGO 4 BOOKS
