The library will close at 5pm on Friday, May 17 so that we can set up for our Spring Gala book sale. Please visit us on Saturday from 9-1. We will have a great selection of books, plants and jewels.

The Manchurian Candidate (1962 political thriller starring Frank Sinatra, Janet Leigh, Laurence Harvey, Angela Lansbury)
Participants are invited to come to the library at 12 noon with their lunch. There will be a short introduction about each film before it starts at 12:30. This program is FREE and suitable for adults. Sponsored by the Friends of the Daland Memorial Library.

The Friends of the Daland Library will meet on Monday, May 28 at 7:30 pm in the library. All are welcome. Our Spring Gala festivities grossed over $2500!

Friends of the Library Membership Drive
The Friends have created a fabulous gift basket to encourage current members to renew and new members to join during January and February 2012. Receive one free entry coupon when you renew or join, another if you attend either the January 23 or February 27 meeting. The raffle basket includes a handcrafted wooden bowl, $25 Hannaford gift card, $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card, Starbucks coffee & mug, Tazo teas, chocolates, 2012 Lamson Farm Calendar and a Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce woven blanket. Annual membership starts at just $15.00 per year. The Friends sponsor many library activities including Halloween trick-or-treat, books for babies, museum passes, Lunch & Afternoon Movie and the summer reading program.

Adult Summer Reading Raffle

Why should the kids have all the fun? Our annual adult summer reading raffle will begin July 1 and continue until September 1. Enter once each time you visit the library. Drawings will be for gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses. Thanks to the Friends of the Daland Library for funding this!
